This is a very personal libation recipe. My friend Stacie introduced me to this drink years ago, and I've been enjoying it ever since. I never knew its proper name until I saw it listed among some other recipes at
LeNell's Liquor Boutique in Red Hook, Brooklyn. She calls it The French Kiss.
Recipe:
Equal parts
sweet and
dry vermouth
Serve over rocks with a twist.
Happy Friday.

this is a GREAT drink! i became curious about it after hearing my now mother-in-law order it about 4 or 5 years ago. it's been my before dinner standard since. (and, it's the perfect post-baby-low-tolerance drink.) i've also asked around curious to find out this drink's name, but have come up with nothing. i'm so glad to finally know!
If you add gin and some lemon peel to this, it's called a "Knickerbocker"...
